My Mazda 6 was drinking fuel like crazy – injectors were the culprit
I've been complaining for months about my 2014 Mazda 6 getting terrible mileage and feeling sluggish off the line, and after replacing spark plugs, air filters, and even the O2 sensor with zero improvement, a friend suggested I look into the fuel injectors. Found a place that offers Professional car injector replacement and decided to give it a shot even though I was skeptical. Turns out three of the four injectors were partially clogged and leaking, which explained the rough idle and the fuel smell I kept noticing. The car runs like new now and my fuel economy is back to normal, so I'm kicking myself for not doing this sooner. Anyone else had injector issues on a Japanese car here? How much did it set you back?
