F430 F1 box started missing shifts and jerking like crazy, is there anyone in Sharjah who can actually sort this?

I've had my 2007 F430 Spider for about four years now and it's mostly been a weekend toy that I keep garaged in Sharjah near the university city, but over the last couple of months the F1 gearbox has developed this really alarming behavior where it sometimes just refuses to engage a gear properly and the whole car lurches forward like a learner driver stalling a manual, and the dash has flashed a gearbox warning a few times which clears after a restart but we all know that's just the car giving you a polite heads up before it empties your wallet completely. The official dealer in Dubai basically laughed and said they'd need to replace the entire F1 actuator assembly and quoted a figure that made me consider just pushing the car into the creek, and I've been calling around to a few independent specialists but most of them hear the word Ferrari and either quote sky high prices or just say they don't touch the F1 systems because they're too complex. A guy I met at a cars and coffee event near Sharjah Corniche mentioned there's a workshop in Industrial Area 6 that does proper Ferrari Gearbox Repair Sharjah and they've actually rebuilt a few of these electrohydraulic units for other F430 and 599 owners, replacing the worn out pump motor bearings and reconditioning the clutch position sensors rather than just throwing the whole thing away and ordering a new unit from Maranello. I'm just trying to find out if anyone on here has actually trusted a local shop with the delicate innards of a Ferrari gearbox and lived to tell the tale without ending up with a car that won't go into reverse when you're trying to parallel park in front of a cafe full of people watching.
